It’s in 1989 that a small group of owners decided to set up a structure to manage their activity. Today, the « Fédération des Gîtes de Wallonie » has become the largest network of lodgings with the inhabitant of Wallonia. Spread throughout Wallonia, all the accommodations of the network are in line with the quality expectancies of the “Gîtes de Wallonie”.
By the development of the architectural heritage and local culture, the « Gîtes de Wallonie » take an active part in the emergence of a durable solidarity based on the friendliness and warmth of exchanges between people of different countries, regions, cultures and social background.
